Marie and Jinny met through mutual friends from law school. Both wanted to pursue a career that focused on helping everyday people with their everyday legal issues – Marie practiced family law to assist people with their property division and parenting challenges, while Jinny worked closely with immigrants and refugees who faced barriers to settling in Canada. The two decided to work together and build a law firm, one that adhered to the values that they shared – Park and Kim Law Office.
